Position: Utility Lineman Technology Instructor (11 month)

Job Description: SMCC has an opening for a full-time (11 month) Utility Lineman Technology Instructor. The Instructor will teach theory and principles of basic linework, such as climbing, first aid, CPR, forklift operation, truck driving, basic tool, material, pole framing, and RUS specification. Instruction in fundamentals of electricity, AD/DC circuits, and mathematics. Preparing students for entry-level employment in the field of utility power transmission and distribution construction, troubleshooting and repair.

Position: Workforce Adjunct EMT Instructor

Job Description: Assist with the instruction and training within the EMT Basic program in accordance with NREMT and MS BEMS standards. Assignments may include theory courses, skills laboratory supervision and instruction, and/or community based field learning assignments.

Position: Food Service Worker

Job Description: Southwest Mississippi Community College is seeking individuals to work in our Food Service Department. Hours 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Full and part-time positions are available.
