Southwest Mississippi Community College fourth semester Associate Degree Nursing students were recently inducted into the Alpha Delta Nu Gamma Rho Chapter Honor Society. These students collectively completed a capstone project “Learn While You Burn” which was presented during the March Student Nurses Organization (SNO) meeting. The capstone project focused on taking care of yourself as you make your way through nursing school. Students mapped out a one mile trail across campus and pointed out the benefits that just taking a 20 minute walk and taking the stairs versus the elevator can have on overall health.
For induction into the Alpha Delta Nu Honor Society, students must maintain an overall GPA of 3.0, GPA of 3.0 in all nursing courses, and demonstrate conduct reflective of integrity and professionalism.
