Bear Aware Alert System

Bear Aware is SMCC's official emergency notification system. This system is used to send you important information during an emergency. We encourage all students, faculty, and staff to participate in this system so that we can maintain a line of communication during an emergency.

  

The only information stored in the Bear Aware database by default is your SMCC email address. We ask that you log in to Bear Aware and add an alternate email address (one that you check regularly) and a phone number (cell phones are great), along with any other information you are willing to provide. 

 

If you do not know your Bear Aware login information, send an email to  FROM YOUR SMCC EMAIL ACCOUNT asking for your information. Inquiries from other email accounts (gmail, yahoo, etc.) will not receive a response since we have no way to verify that the email was sent from you.
