Southwest Mississippi Community College provides orientation for beginning freshmen before each fall and spring semester. A student who has never attended college before is required to attend an orientation session before pre-scheduling classes. Transfer students are welcome to attend orientation but are not required. 

Fall 2009 Orientation Sessions

A transfer or returning student should contact an advisor to pre-schedule classes. You may pre-schedule your classes online, but you must meet with your advisor before you will be allowed to do so.
