SMCC Basketball Standout named All-American

Southwest Mississippi Community College basketball standout Octavia Bearden has been named an NJCAA Honorable Mention All-American. The 5’ 11” forward from Tylertown averaged 16.4 points and nine rebounds per game for the Lady Bears during the 2009-2010 season.
