I believe it is our good fortune to have you as a student at Southwest Mississippi Community College for the 2008-09 school year. It is my privilege to welcome you to our campus. My hopes and prayers are that you will have a great experience this year. We appreciate your having chosen to further your education at SMCC for the 2008-09 school year. 

Our highly qualified faculty and staff will provide excellent educational opportunities for you. Please give your very best to acquire the education to prepare you for life. Each of you has potential; however, it takes a big commitment and hard work to develop that potential. Please participate in as many student activities as you can without sacrificing your preparation for classes. All of our administration, faculty, and staff are willing to help you at any time. We are your best resource for information, so do not hesitate to call on any of us.
