3-0 deficit to emerge with a 5-3 win in the 2nd Annual Alumni Game.

Saranthus Named Rawlings Defensive Player of the Year
Coty Saranthus (Terry, MS), a standout pitcher at Southwest Mississippi
Community College in 2007 and 2009, has been named the Rawlings
Defensive Player of the Year in the Coastal Plains League, one of the
country’s top summer baseball leagues. He pitched for the Edenton
Steamers.

Soccer game Recap: Women's Alumni Game
Propelled by sophomore Joleigh Hartman’s two goals, the 2010 Southwest
Lady Bears soccer team emerged victorious Saturday in the program’s
second annual alumni game. Also scoring for the current squad were Kate
Brasher and Courtney Reid.
Meet the Bears
Southwest Mississippi Community College will hold its annual “Meet the
Bears” night at 6:30 on Thursday, August 26 in the cafeteria of the
Holmes Student Union Building. Students, parents and the public are
invited to attend.
