Institutional ScholarshipsScholarship applications for institutional scholarships should be submitted to the Vice-President of Student Affairs/Chairman of the Scholarship Committee. Applicants must also submit the full Financial Aid Report from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid ( http://www.fafsa.ed.gov ). The listing of institutional scholarships is located in the course catalog. Performance ScholarshipsScholarships are given to a select student body whom is involved in athletics, cheerleading, reflection, chorus, and band. Non-Institutional ‘Outside' Scholarships and ProgramsSouthwest Mississippi Community College acknowledges and congratulates students whom receive outside scholarships (Americorps, WIA, Church established scholarships, Career -parents' job- scholarships, etc.). Outside scholarships must be reported to the financial aid office immediately. If a student receives an outside scholarship, payment should be directed to the Business Office, 1156 College Drive, Summit, MS 39666 to be applied to the student's account. |
