Bear Aware Alert System

Bear Aware is an emergency alert system available to our students and employees. Participants can elect to receive emails, phone calls, and text messages in an emergency situation. Alerts will automatically be sent to your SMCC email address unless you log in and change this.

To log in to Bear Aware, visit www.myschoolcast.com.

If you do not know your login information, follow the steps below:

  1. Log into your SMCC email account and create a new message.
  2. In the subject of the email, type "Bear Aware Login Information Request"
  3. In the body of your message, list your name and student id number.
  4. Send the email to   CLOAKING . Please use  CLOAKING  for login information requests only. Please do not email this address for information regarding school closings, emergencies, etc.

A response will be email to you within 48 hours. Please do not send another request until you have received a response. Sending another request will result in a password reset and may lead to confusion.

Note: In order to ensure the security of your account and your information, we will only respond to a request from your SMCC Email Address.
