Position: Adjunct Workforce Industrial Training Instructor
Job Description: The Adjunct Workforce Industrial Training Instructor will facilitate workshops/classes and instruct module(s) related to generic and specific skills needed to successfully apply and obtain a job. The adjunct instructor, as part of the team, will assist in the selection and development of appropriate assessment and training materials. The adjunct instructor will teach various training programs coordinated by a Workforce Training Coordinator for local businesses, industries and workforce following Southwest Mississippi Community College and Mississippi Board for Community Colleges guidelines. This job description is not intended to be all inclusive and the employee will also perform other reasonably related duties. Reports directly to the Workforce Training Coordinator.
Position: Adult Education, ESL, Smart Start
Job Description: The Adult Education, ESL and Smart Start Adjunct instructor will provide instruction to adult education students. Plans, implements, documents and evaluates instructional practices, procedures and materials. The adjunct instructor will provide direct, on-site, supervision of academic assistants. Reports directly to the Adult Education Director.
Position: Food Service Worker
Job Description: Southwest Mississippi Community College is seeking individuals to work in our Food Service Department. Hours 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Must be able to work weekends. Full and part-time positions are available.
Position: Women’s Head Soccer Coach
Job Description: Head Soccer Coach leads, organizes, prepares, implements and manages quality assurance for all aspects of the women’s soccer program. The head soccer coach is an integral member of the Southwest Mississippi Community College athletic department and reports directly to the Director of Athletics.
