Southwest Mississippi Community College will offer several courses during the Christmas break, provided we have sufficient demand. In order for a course to make, there must be ten registered students in the course. Courses will meet on December 15th from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., December 16th – 19th from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., December 21st and 22nd from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. The final exam will be administered on December 23rd.
Possible courses include BIO 2513X (Anatomy and Physiology I), ENG 0123X (Intermediate English), ENG 1113X (English Composition I), ENG 1123X (English Composition II), GEO 1113X (World Geography), HIS 1113X (Western Civilization I), HIS1123X (Western Civilization II), LIS 1121X (Library Science), LLS 1423X (College Study Skills), MAT 0123X (Beginning Algebra), MAT 1233X (Intermediate Algebra), MUS 1113X (Music Appreciation), PHY 2243X (Physical Science I), and PSY 1513X (General Psychology). Labs will not be offered with science courses. Students will be required to take the lab during the 2010 Spring semester.
Current students may see their advisor for advising and web authorization. Non-current students should complete an application for admissions in the Registrar’s office, where they will be assigned an advisor. Once web authorized students may visit the Campus Information Center for pre-scheduling. All fees must be paid in the Business Office no later than December 15th.
